The company enjoys the reputation of a top quality and resourceful manufacturer of biscuits, with large scale production capacity, applying high quality standards and utilizing cutting edge technologies, with a noteworthy, continuously growing commercial activity, both in Greece and abroad. Its dynamic presence in the international market, in over 25 countries, includes it among the companies with major export activity.

Need

The company’s significant growth, increased requirements for accurate monitoring and costing of production, the need to optimize and automate its operating processes, for detailed and in real time administrative information, and the organization’s focus on customer satisfaction, necessitated the deployment of a uniform and growing IT system, that would cover all its activities and growing course.

Solution

VIOLANTA SA invested on the Galaxy platform, deploying a unified ERP system, managing its Commercial and Financial activity, its Production process and its Retail Sales with Galaxy Retail, modernizing the entire company.

The project includes:
• Integrated Commercial and Financial Management, according to the operating requirements, for two (2) corporate schemes, in three (3) Branches
• Central management of all production process stages and all production scenarios, allowing the configuration of alternative production recipes in an easy manner, without the need to create new ones, in order to quickly and effectively respond to customer requirements
• Management of warehouses and the three owned distribution centers, both in production and ready-made products
• Monitoring of stock using barcodes, batches, warehouse position or shelf position, with automated recommendation for batch export via FIFO
• Monitoring of the productive process total cost
• Management of all orders, including those sent by Merchandisers, via a third party system, directly on the ERP and automation of processes, from order receipt to order shipping to the end customer
• Application of various and multifaceted discount policies based on agreements
• Management of outlet retail sales
• Interfaces for connection to 3rd Party Logistics
