Detail LTD headquartered in Gerakas, Attica, under Spyros and Emmanuel Antoniou, has been operating since 1997 in the production of aluminum profiles -wholesale and retail-, accessories, doors, sheets and, generally, any material related to the metal constructions of aluminum frames. Need

One of the most important day-to-day activities of Detail Ltd is the shipment for painting the aluminum included in multiple customer orders and the return of the painted aluminum from the paint shop. At the close, a correlation should be made of the returned painted with the originals sent and the correction of the final weight of the painted aluminum.

Solution

AREBAS, in order to meet the above needs of Detail Ltd., built the following additional functionality/application for the client’s PYLON Commercial, which it called “Paint Shop Management”.

After the Customer’s order is entered, the items to be sent for painting are selected and a general weight increase percentage (e.g. 5%) can be calculated, as well as the value of the original order in added weight.

The original -not painted- merchandise sent to the Paint Shop is matched with the painted one and the weight of the returned item, as well as the cost of the painting, can be recorded, thus providing costing abilities for the returned items and their painting processes.
